Day 17 - Black Ankle Winery

After yesterday's downpours, this morning dawned crisp and clear.  Just the perfect morning to take a walk at my favorite winery, Black Ankle.  Website:  www.blackankle.com

I am hoping to do some photography jobs for Black Ankle, so I used the walk time to take photos of the tasting room, the vines, the grapes, and the beautiful scenery.  Black Ankle prides itself on its sustainability and smart use of the land and its resources.

On my drive home, I took some rural roads that I had not yet explored, and once again I marveled at what a beautiful place I now live in.

Frederick County is not only a beautiful part of Maryland, it is also chock full of history and small towns and rolling hills.  I've lived here for two years now, and there is still so much to see.

  1. Well you sure ought to get that job with those images as samples. Maybe offer them a "sampling" package ;-)
