Day 140 - Lakewood Estates

(Click on any photo to enlarge.)

Backlit Grasses
I'm taking a great light painting course near Pequea, PA, at the home and studio of Harold Ross.  He has taught us some amazing new skills that I can't wait to use.  See my final image below.

Woodshed
This morning, Beamie and I walked in Lakewood Estates, which is Harold's neighborhood.  The homes here are on wooded lots, with some homes high on hills.  Seven of the homes, including Harold's are on a beautiful lake, at which bald eagles are sometimes seen.  However, at 8:30 this morning, the sun was too strong on the lake to get a good image, nor were there any eagles to be seen.

Reach for the sky
We walked in the clean, crisp air, admiring the homes, many of which were of unique contemporary design, with stacked stone fireplaces.

Today's walk was short, but needed, since we were going to be sitting all day while processing our photos.
