Day 196 - St. Patrick's Day on Patrick Street

(Click any photo to enlarge.)

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I did a "green walk" in downtown Frederick this morning before going to the Delaplaine Visual Arts center to see the photography shows of Lauren Barnhart and Jim Hamann.  I walked around for about 30 minutes, looking for green in things other than plants.  The big partiers were not yet out in full force, but I am sure that they are heating up now, because Jim posted some great street photography on Facebook a few minutes ago.  If you get a chance to go by the Delaplaine, be sure to check out the photography shows on the second floor.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Visit my photography show, "My Maryland," at the public library in Urbana, Maryland, on the lower level of the building.  It is there until the end of April.
